Tim Brown

Position: President, Director, Position 1

My name is Tim Brown and I moved my family to Terrebonne area in 1994.  I am a civil engineer and have been involved in design and implementation of similar projects for over 30 years.  Both of my children attended Terrebonne elementary school and we became very fond of this community. I have noted the decline or stagnation of the community over these past years and I believe this stagnation is a direct result of limited and problematic sewer availability.

It has always been my belief that the only way sewer was going to get built in Terrebonne was for someone to get seriously sick from exposure to human waste from a failing septic system.  I feared that this would happen and I am happy to be taking positive action to prevent this tragedy before such a public health issue. The significant replacement cost of numerous and increasing failing septic systems including both commercial and residential systems make a permanent solution the appropriate choice for a community that is concerned about its citizens and their future.

I have been a part of the Terrebonne Sewer Advisory Group (TSAG) which has been actively meeting now for a couple of years and has done significant outreach with the community during this time.
